Stephen is responsible for building out our practice in the Irish market, focussing on executive and board appointments across a range of sectors. Leveraging existing relationships of both Ridgeway and Teneo as well as his own extensive network, Stephen is focussed on establishing Ridgeway as a key player in Executive Search in Ireland.
Before joining Ridgeway, Stephen was a partner in a boutique executive search firm based in Dublin and prior to that held a number of senior management and executive roles in Irish and International banks, most recently as Head of Retail Banking for Danske Bank in Ireland. Stephen holds an MBA from The Open University.
What is the single most important challenge facing clients today and how can we help?
Retaining and attracting the best talent post pandemic is the key challenge that all clients will face over the coming months and years. Innovative and progressive strategies along with a truly inclusive culture will be key to attracting and retaining the best people. Ridgeway can help with this by clearly understanding the strategy and culture of our clients and ensuring that all prospective candidates are suitably aligned to this.
How do we keep diversity at the forefront of client discussions?
Whilst much progress has been made in recent years, we are really only at the start of the journey towards real diversity and inclusion in the workplace. Working closely with and challenging our clients to bring true diversity to the forefront of their hiring practices across executive and board appointments is a key focus for the entire team in Ridgeway in the years ahead.
