Karen joined Ridgeway in 2010. Currently an Associate Director in our board practice, she focuses on the delivery of non executive director and chair appointments for clients across a broad range of sectors and ownership structures. She has a particular interest in enhancing diversity on boards. Previously Karen worked at a boutique executive search firm specialising in the retail and luxury sectors. She holds a BA in the history of art and architecture from Birkbeck, University of London.

While Ridgeway has grown significantly since I joined, we have managed to retain the supportive, family-business feel that we started with. We genuinely care about each other, and about our clients and candidates.
What makes us progressive?
Ridgeway has been helping clients to build diverse boards and teams for many years. We voluntarily set ourselves stretching targets for the representation of diverse candidates on our long and short lists, and our hard work has really paid off in our placement statistics. It’s an important area of our work that I am particularly proud of.
