Rebecca is a Senior Consultant in the Board Practice delivering on non executive and chair appointments across FTSE main market, AIM listed and other businesses. She excels in making diverse appointments and introducing next generation talent to boards. She leads the Ridgeway DE&I Steering Committee.
Prior to joining Ridgeway, Rebecca worked for Odgers Berndtson, specialising in bringing commercial talent onto government boards. She also chaired the company’s internal Ethnicity Allies Group. Rebecca started her career appointing finance professionals within the financial services sector.
Rebecca holds a BA in Economics and Finance from Durham University and is trilingual in English, Mandarin and Shanghainese.

How do we keep diversity at the forefront of client discussions?
In recent years private and public boards have been challenged and transformed at a pace the market has never seen before. There has been increased attention on good governance, innovation and diversity that will only continue to grow.
If businesses want diversity in their boardroom they need to begin with a search firm that genuinely cares about diversity all the time. Internally we have a diversity group that is inwards and outward facing. We make substantial charitable contributions, not just on a monetary basis, but by raising awareness and committing our personal time on projects.
